Insolvency Administrator

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £17,000 – £23,000 dependent on experience

Required experience:

  • Insolvency experience is preferred: 1 year

Invocas Financial is an established insolvency company and are looking to recruit an administrator within the Supervision Team. You will benefit from being in a varied role carrying out the day to day management of Trust Deed cases.

The role involves:

  • Managing and controlling a portfolio of Trust Deeds;
  • Progressing cases in relation to asset realisation;
  • Dealing with and assisting solicitors, clients and estate agents in asset
  • realisation;
  • Completing annual reviews and ensuring statutory deadlines are met;
  • Adjudicating on creditor claims, paying dividends and closing Trust Deeds;
  • Ensuring all internal systems are kept up to date regarding the progress of cases;
  • Dealing with telephone, email and correspondence enquiries from clients, creditors, legal agents and estate agents;
  • Working under own initiative and to deadlines;
  • Adhering to principals laid out by the FCA for holistic debt advice;
  • Working to set targets; and
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

  • Insolvency knowledge and experience;
  • The ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team;
  • The initiative to pro-actively solve problems and assist other team members where required;
  • The ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A full understanding and implementation of TCF;
  • Excellent attention to detail; and
  • Empathy

Application process

Our recruitment process is usually, but not limited to, made up of three stages

a. Application

Candidates are invited to send a CV and to include a covering letter stating why you want to work with Invocas and what you would bring to the Group.

b. First Interview

A telephone interview, lasting approximately 30 minutes, is the second stage in the recruitment process. The recruiting manager will call you to discuss your previous experience and ask a number of questions which will give us an indication of whether your skills and behaviours match the key competencies we need our people to demonstrate.

c. Final Interview

Those successful at the first interview stage will be invited to come in and see our working environment. A further behavioural, technical and competency based interview will also take place with your potential new manager.

It is important for you to know that we view our interview programme as a two way process. We want to know all about your skills and experience but candidates are encouraged to ask us questions too.
