Previously to joining Invocas 4 years ago I worked as a Mortgage Adviser, but I was keen to help people get their finances back on track.
I am a qualified debt advisor and I provide a route-to-debt advice for people referred to us. During my time at Invocas, I now see the problems too much lending can cause and have learned there must always be a sensible balance in people’s finances for worry free living.
Invocas has provided me with the new challenge I was looking for as my role has been wide and varied. I deal with facilities, operations, suppliers, recruitment, HR, health & safety, payroll, leases and everything else that comes along with that – so not much to keep me busy really!
I have been working at Invocas for 2 ½ years and have learned about what insolvency is and all the different types of debt solutions that I was not aware of before.
I have worked at Invocas Financial for many years now and have always worked within the insolvency profession. My first role was as an insolvency administrator at Kroll (now Zolfo Cooper) following a trip around the world after University.
I now have ultimate responsibility for our insolvency cases at Invocas.
I have seen a variety of changes, but the ethos of the company has always remained the same and the company is in a great place to continue providing a full range of debt solutions in a highly professional way to help our customers on their journey.
We have a great team of dedicated staff who are a pleasure to work with and I am excited about the future for the company.
I have been involved with the business since it was first established in 1998. For a period of time, I was the Finance Director and Group CEO.
Invocas is all about providing a professional and quality service and there is always great satisfaction from advising clients who have fallen into financial difficulties and helping them back onto their feet again.
I have been working in the debt solution industry for over seven years. After a successful career based in South Wales I decided to move to Manchester five years ago as it would allow me to work in a location that is the hub of the industry.
My time with Invocas has been both challenging and hugely rewarding. I came to work for the Invocas Group through the recommendation of an old colleague. It has been refreshing to work for a company that truly puts the client’s best interest at the heart of their process. I look forward to working here over the coming years and taking advantage of the opportunities that this will create for me.
I joined Invocas in 2013 from a firm of solicitors where I worked for seven and half years dealing with house repossessions for mortgages companies.
I have developed the skill of dealing with difficult clients and I now support my team to achieve the right balance of empathy and persuasion to get clients onside.
In the time I have been here, there have been many changes for the better within in the corporate culture and, as a department, we are looking forward to the challenges ahead.
